PLATFORM

We will have a village that puts your property and your choices first.  How many gardens, sun houses, gazebos, porches, patios, decks, septic systems, land acquisitions, and rudimentary landscaping updates have spent months and years in village "review", only to be DENIED?  How many homeowners have removed intrusive and dangerous trees only to be FINED by the village?  It's your property and you deserve a swift, respectful approach with reasonable accommodation to YOUR choices and peaceful enjoyment.
Our focus will be a balanced budget.  We will insist on our fair share of state block grants and funding to reduce and eliminate costs across our community, including within Wynstone.  We will make choices that grow our property values and connect our community with exciting quality lifestyle activities.  Our priorities will include:
  • Using grant funds to build a public dock on Honey Lake for public enjoyment.
  • Using grant funds and contributions to build a boardwalk to our favorite local businesses in Lake Zurich.
  • Adding walking trails connecting our communities.
  • Fencing space in Eton Park for off-leash dog play.
  • Removing dangerous trees and limbs from our public right-of-ways, and reduce power outages.
  • Educating homeowners on the benefits of our historic healthy trees and nature.
  • Opening village hall to public use including meetings and clubs.
